Classes & Builds
A tier list with personality — picked for solo, party, open-world PvP and Olympiad.
Interlude has 31 classes split across Fighters (swords, daggers, bows, fists, tanks) and Mystics (healers, supports, nukers, summoners). None of them are bad — but some are much easier to play, gear, and find parties for. This guide is opinionated. Take it as a starting point, not gospel.

- Necromancer — summon tanks the mob, you nuke from the back. Self-sustaining.
- Bounty Hunter — spoil everything, sell the loot, retire early.
- Hawkeye / Silver Ranger — kite, kite, kite. Never gets hit.
- Bishop — slow but unkillable. Great for soloing high-level zones.
- Prophet — the most invited class in the game. People will hunt you down to party with you.
- Overlord — Orc buffer with party-wide HP/MP boosts.
- Warcryer — debuffs + buffs, the swiss army knife of supports.
- Sorcerer / Spellsinger / Spellhowler — AoE nukers melt grind spots.
- Gladiator — Sonic Storm and Triple Slash delete clumped enemies.
- Ghost Hunter / Phantom Ranger — burst from stealth, vanish if it goes wrong.
- Storm Screamer / Archmage — biggest single-target hit in the game.
- Dominator — clan-wide buffs in mass fights. Hated and loved in equal measure.
Olympiad is a different game. Burst and resists matter more than sustain.
- Swordmaster / Duelist — Sonic Rage one-combos squishies.
- Mystic Muse — anti-physical queen, hard counter to fighters.
- Moonlight Sentinel — safest archer match-up in the chronicle.
- Cardinal / Eva’s Saint — nearly unkillable in class-restricted brackets.
Pick the class that fits how you want to play, not the one a stranger calls meta. If you log in twice a week, don’t pick a class that needs a permanent party to function. If you have a buddy who plays a healer, roll something melee-y. The best class on Emerge is the one you’re still logging in to play three months from now.
