This Cookie Policy explains the small text files that L2 Emerge stores on your device. We keep this list short on purpose — we do not run advertising or analytics on the main site.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of text that a website asks your browser to remember. It is sent back to the site on every request, which is how the site can recognise you between page loads.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the site to function. They are set automatically and cannot be turned off.

• laravel_session — keeps you signed in to your master account. Expires when you log out or after a period of inactivity.
• XSRF-TOKEN — a security token that protects every form on the site against cross-site request forgery.
• l2emerge_remember — set only if you tick “Remember me” at login. Lets you stay signed in across browser restarts.

Functional cookies

• l2emerge_theme — remembers your preferred UI theme between visits. Set only if you change the default.

Cookies we do not use

• No advertising cookies.
• No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, etc.).
• No social-media tracking pixels.
• No fingerprinting beyond what is needed for our anti-cheat on the launcher (HWID), which is not a web cookie.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies at any time from your browser settings. If you clear the strictly necessary cookies, you will be logged out and your forms will reset, but the site will still work.

Third-party services

Some pages embed content from third parties (PayPal checkout, Discord widget, YouTube videos for streamers). When you interact with those embeds, the third party may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
