Terms and Conditions

By creating an account, downloading the launcher, or playing on any L2 Emerge server, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Read them carefully.

1. The service

L2 Emerge is a non-commercial, free-to-play private server project provided “as is” and “as available”. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice. We make no guarantee of uptime, item persistence, or character progression.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian before purchasing coins.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for the security of your master account credentials.
• We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication from Settings → Security.
• You may not transfer, sell, or rent your account. Accounts caught being traded for real money are permanently closed.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to follow the Server Rules. Bot use, exploit abuse, RMT, and harassment are grounds for immediate termination of your account without refund.

5. Coins and purchases

• Coins are an in-game cosmetic and convenience currency. They have no monetary value once delivered to your master account.
• All purchases are processed by PayPal under their own terms.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
• We reserve the right to revoke coins purchased fraudulently or via charged-back transactions.

6. Intellectual property

• Lineage II, all related art, names, characters, and trademarks belong to NCSOFT. L2 Emerge is a fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NCSOFT.
• The L2 Emerge logo, website design, and original artwork on this site are property of the L2 Emerge project. You may not reproduce them without written permission.
• User-generated content (forum posts, screenshots, ticket replies) remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and moderate it.

7. Disclaimer of warranty

The service is provided without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for lost characters, lost items, lost adena, downtime, data loss following server wipes (where applicable), or any indirect damages.

8. Termination

We may close your account at any time for violation of these Terms or the Server Rules. You may close your own account at any time from Settings.

9. Changes

These Terms may be updated. We will announce material changes on Discord and on this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new Terms.

10. Governing law

Any dispute arising from these Terms will be handled in good faith first via support, and if unresolved, under the law of the jurisdiction where the project is operated.
